Bit.Country, a platform where users can create their own metaverse, which recently raised $ 4 million in a seed round led by Animoca Brands, is the first project of its kind to have launched a dedicated academy which aims to train users in the intricacies of interacting with web 3.0 digital environments such as metaverses and the underlying blockchain technologies.
Bit.Country Metaverse Career Academy is an online educational platform that attracts the expertise and talent of Polkadot ecosystem developers as mentors and lecturers. The learning approaches of the Metaverse Career Academy include multimodal content, interactive exercises, practical projects as well as direct access to mentors and course designers, community-driven support and internship opportunities. The Metaverse Career Academy is open to all users who want to deal with the technical and practical applications and possibilities of online metaverses.
The platform offers users a range of curricula, including 6-week courses with lessons and assignments, and an optional 4-week project-based internship.
The courses include knowledge sharing about non-fungible tokens, their use cases, as well as metaverse launch mechanics, 3D modeling and voxel building. The course also aims to identify career opportunities within Metaverses. All proceeds from the Metaverse Career Academy program will be used to sponsor new Metaverse and Blockchain projects to give back to the community and ensure compliance with the core principle of the blockchain – transparency and fairness.
